Not Sure What To Book?

If you’re not sure what to book, please feel free to get in touch and I’m happy to answer any questions you have. This quick, straightforward mini guide might help too.

So If You're Thinking ...

“I just want to tidy what I’ve already got. I don’t want gel.”    Natural Manicure

“I just want a colour.”    Gel Polish Manicure

“My nails keep breaking. I want something to help me grow them out because I'd eventually like my own nails to be longer.”    Overlay

“I just want them a bit longer now.”    Extensions.

“My nails have grown out and I want them re-done.”    Infill.

“I just want them off.”    Removal.

Here's What Each One Is:

Natural Manicure

Focuses on your cuticles and natural nails only. Great if you want tidy cuticles and natural nails, but don’t want colour or product.

How Often: Every 2 - 3 weeks.

Gel Polish Manicure

Adds long-lasting colour to your natural nails but doesn't add strength or length.

How Often: Every 2 - 3 weeks.

Overlay

Adds a structured layer of either builder gel or hard gel. It’s a durable layer applied over your natural nails. It doesn't add length, but acts as a protective barrier while your nails grow.

How Often: Every 3 - 4 weeks.

Extensions

Add length to your natural nails. Builder gel is best suited to short extensions, while hard gel is strong enough for short, medium and long extensions.

How Often: Every 3 - 4 weeks.

Infill

The refresh we do every 3-4 weeks to maintain your treatment. I tidy everything up, remove the grown-out product and re-apply fresh product, so you're ready to go again.

How Often: Every 3 - 4 weeks.

Removal

Safe removal of gel products while protecting your natural nails. You'd only need this if you're not planning another set.

Good To Know:

The "How Often" is a guide if you want to start having your nails done regularly, or already like having a manicure all the time.

If you only have your nails done for special occasions, then your set can be safely removed after 3-4 weeks.

Removals should be done properly and safely to avoid damaging the natural nail underneath. I know we can get fed up and then peel or pick them off, but it often takes layers of your natural nail off along with it, causing damage.

Please remember, you don’t have to know exactly what you want or need before you come. This is just a guide to try and be helpful if you’d like to know more before you do.

If you book a treatment and we find out you meant something different once you’re in the chair, there is a bit of flexibility in appointments to figure that out!

The only exception:

Extensions are the only treatment I'd want you to know about in advance so you're not disappointed. These are the longest type of appointment at approximately 2 hours. For example, I wouldn’t be able to fit an extension appointment into a gel polish booking because of the time they take. But everything else can be sorted out!
